In an attempt to clarify my requirements, I’ve emailed TalkTalk customer services. Sometimes these things are clearer in writing:<\/p>\n
\r\nAccount Number: xxxxxxxx\r\n\r\n[Address scrubbed]\r\n\r\nHi,\r\n\r\nOn the 29th June, you transferred my broadband service from Nildram to\r\nTalkTalk. I was led to understand that this was just a change to my\r\nphone line rental rather than to my broadband which was already with\r\nTalkTalk. Consequently, the configuration of my broadband service has\r\nchanged and rendered my services unreachable from the Internet.\r\n\r\nI've spoken to your technical and customer support teams but feel that\r\nI'm failing to explain what's happened. I'm hoping that explaining it\r\nin writing will make more sense.\r\n\r\nPreviously from you (or Nildram) I had a static IP address for my ADSL\r\nRouter of 82.133.98.89. I also had a subnet allocated to me of\r\n82.133.6.112\/29 which enabled me to present up to 6 servers from my LAN,\r\nthrough the router to the Internet. TalkTalk have now allocated me a\r\nsingle, static IP address for my router of 92.24.14.200.
