Near the top of my list is a decent LCD television.  I looked at a few in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.comet.co.uk\">Comet<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.currys.co.uk\/\">Currys<\/a> today and based on asthetics I like the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lge.co.uk\">LG<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sony.co.uk\">Sony<\/a> products.  Sony models are considerably more expensive but my past experience with them has been good.  Then again Sony are the evil enemy when it comes to <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Digital_rights_management\">DRM<\/a> so my ethics are against buying their products.<\/p>\n<p>Besides the cost of these things, the main problem is the sheer variety of models and features available.  For me, there is more complexity in buying a television than buying a computer!
