16th January and still not a sniff of a guitar being delivered. Now I wish I’d payed that bit extra and bought one in town. I ordered mine through a company called Piedog and expected it to be delivered on the 7th January. I’ve received various emails from them stating that various bits will be despatched on various dates but so far, zilch.
I guess coming from the computer world, I am used to orders being despatched on the day I place them and then hearing the doorbell ring at the crack of dawn the next morning so I can sign for a parcel. Sadly this concept of stocking items and rapid turn-arounds doesn’t extend to all areas of Internet shopping. Piedog, it seems are a big exception. I placed the order on 21st December which is fast approaching a whole month ago. In short, I am becoming impatient.
